Scarf

Here is one of the scarves that I have knit using Katia Azteca yarn which is made up of 50% wool and 50% acrylic. It is a reversible cable scarf design smooth to the touch and really keeps you warm and cozy on the neck...

It is called cable scarf owing to the cable-like pattern on the scarf as you can see when u click on the picture below. The cable pattern not only provide a nice sophisticated design but it really pulls the yarns tightly together for maximum protection of cold.

Might be wondering how does one actually create this pattern it looks difficult but really it is not. Just look at the clips I have attached from youtube and you will go "ohhhhhh I seee" ^^

I do agree you will need abit of practice to really do it well.. But its fun so enjoy the learning..

I have adopted the design from Lion Brand website free knitting pattern (pattern number: 50368). Lion Brand website (http://www.lionbrand.com/) periodically give away free knitting patterns for knitters to download and work on. Do check them out but you do need to register though before you can download the free patterns. Don't worry its a free registration.
